On Saturday September 20th, 2025, we held an open house at Cascade Lodge to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of our lodge building.
A small advertisement was placed in the local paper 'Rocky Mountain Outlook', and a poster attached to the front door of the lodge building.
We had a good turnout, with locals curious about the building, and visitors who came to Banff for tourism.
Our Grand Master and Secretary greeted visitors, cut a blue ribbon stretched across the doorway to celebrate the occasion, and every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour gave a talk about an aspect of freemasonry or the history of Cascade Lodge.
Our landlord the Whyte Museum was represented by their events manager, who also gave a speech recognizing Masonry in Banff.
